This session will be centered around the big topic of Pay Inequity. Our profession, as most career paths, even when accounting for a majority of females, still has a salary gap that can't be explained by gender alone. Despite the size or budget of an organization, the level of a position, or even an individual's experience and education level, women still make less than men. We all know the gap exists, and there are many ways to tackle it. But WHY does it still happen and WHY is it so pervasive? This is what we are going to focus on and try to answer, as development professionals committed not just to diversity but also to equity, inclusion and belonging. Anticipated takeaways:

Faith Eutsay, Senior Consultant, Lindauer Global
Faith Eutsay possesses deep experience and expertise in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, having held many senior level roles prior to joining Lindauer in 2014. As Vice President of Development at Easter Seals Massachusetts, Faith was a key partner to the president and played an integral role in advancing strategic and governance initiatives. She oversaw every aspect of development including all major gift, annual fund, special event, corporation and foundation activity; led frontline fundraising with leadership donors; and managed staff and Board relationships.
As Vice President of Client Services at Integral Resources, Inc., for-profit fundraising specialists for the nonprofit profession, Faith’s role included nonprofit client strategy; business development initiatives; directing marketing and communications; managing fundraising and annual giving initiatives for nonprofit partners; and executing a range of other responsibilities. Faith also brings extensive organizational and operations expertise to Lindauer clients, with experience that included directing processes for a national hedge fund firm, creating public policies and procedures, integrating technology across corporate functions, studying organizational behavior and conducting diversity training. She has done political fundraising, faith-based fundraising and worked with such prominent think tanks as Resources for the Future. Faith is well-versed in education, healthcare and mission-driven nonprofits, having successfully completed major searches for Princeton University, Stanford University, Harvard University, Duke Health, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, C.A.S.T., Society for Science and the Public and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She has placed leaders for renowned independent schools such as Buckingham Browne & Nichols, Hackley, National Cathedral School and Perkins School for the Blind as well as multiple candidates at WGBH, PBS’s single largest producer; the Rheumatology Research Foundation and Syracuse University. Faith also counts University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas Health Science Center Houston, Louisiana State University, and Moffitt Cancer Center among her numerous successful placements. Faith holds a B.A. in Communications/Business from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and an M.A. in Interpersonal Communications from Purdue University.Patricia D. Keenan, Vice President of Advancement, Community and Equity, Ellis Ahmed Mohammed, Director of Talent Acquisition, Harvard Medical School He is a multi-lingual global citizen with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful organizational leadership strategies within several key business functions. For the past 17 years, he has worked with diverse constituent groups to establish and sustain institution-wide management solutions in response to organizational talent and business development changes. In his tenures at both Harvard University and Dartmouth College, he has successfully managed many aspects of organizational client expectations, project management, strategy development, employment branding, talent sourcing, on-boarding, mobility, and assessments. Additionally, Ahmed has effectively developed and executed successful solutions to targeted projects. He has been known for leveraging strong analytical and entrepreneurial appraoches towards developing business cases and performance measures that support institutional decision-making, resource allocation, and deliverables around talent management and acquisition. Ahmed is passionate and committed to his profession and in creating innovative solutions and difference. Andrea Silbert, President, Eos Foundation Andrea began her career as a financial analyst with Morgan Stanley in New York. She left Wall Street for Latin America, where Andrea worked in grassroots economic development in Costa Rica, Columbia, and Brazil. During her time abroad, Andrea worked for Women’s World Banking, an international network of micro-loan funds, and was named an Echoing Green Fellow for her work with Brazilian street girls. Andrea also worked as economic development director for Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation in inner-city Boston. Nationally, Andrea served as the founding President of the Association of Women’s Business Centers, meeting with Congressional leaders to promote legislation to assist women-owned small businesses. In 2000, she was appointed to the National Women’s Business Council, which provides advice to Congress and the President on issues of concern to women entrepreneurs, particularly around access to capital and government procurement. Andrea was a co-founder of Springboard Enterprises, a national organization which has helped fast-growth women entrepreneurs raise over $2 billion in angel financing and venture capital. A nationally recognized advocate in the area of economic empowerment, Andrea was selected by Working Woman magazine – alongside Senator Barbara Mikulski and Gloria Steinem – as one of only 25 leaders in the past 25 years who “have given women in the workplace a better shot.” Andrea serves on the boards of the Alliance for Business Leadership (http://alliancebl.org/) and the Harwich Conservation Trust (http://harwichconservationtrust.org/). She is a graduate of Harvard University, where she earned a MBA, a Master of Public Administration and a BA in Economics. She lives in Harwich, Massachusetts with her three children. Sharon J.
