Nanette Fridman, Founder, Fridman Strategies
With more than 25 years of experience, Nanette Fridman is a strategist and coach for values-driven organizations and leaders. Her work specializes in governance, fundraising, strategic planning, and leadership development. Nanette partners with clients ranging from small start-ups to large international organizations in varying sectors across North America to advance their missions and maximize their impact.

Known for her good humor and high energy, Nanette speaks and trains frequently about leadership, collaboration, innovation, governance, and philanthropy. She is the author of two books, On Board: What Every Board Member Must Know about Nonprofits & Board Service (2014) and Holding the Gavel: What Nonprofit Board Leaders Need to Know (2019).

Before founding Fridman Strategies, Inc. in 2006, Nanette was a corporate attorney and helped her firm launch its Israel business practice. Prior to her legal career, Nanette was the national field director for an advocacy organization in Washington, DC.

Originally from Rhode Island, Nanette earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University. She received her BA, summa cum laude, in political science from Tufts University. Nanette also studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Nanette is honored to be a Harry S. Truman Scholar.

Nanette is active in communal and political life in Newton, Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband and two children.
