Submission Deadline March 30 Women in Development of Greater Boston (WIDGB) is currently seeking nominees and expressions of interest for open positions on the Board of Directors. Both self-nominations and nominations of colleagues are enthusiastically welcomed. This is a tremendous opportunity to expand your professional network and help your development colleagues hone and sharpen skills for an ever-evolving industry. The WIDGB Board, which consists of up to 27 members, is responsible for serving as visible leaders and spokespersons for WID, ensuring that committee activities align with strategic priorities, overseeing the fiduciary health of the organization, and recruiting new members. Many board members serve as committee chairs, overseeing committees to plan the activities of the organization. WIDGB board members typically serve a two-year term (board members-at-large serve a one-year term) beginning July 1 and ending June 30. The board meets four times a year (including in person or virtual), with regular communication between meetings by email/phone. WIDGB is committed to build, sustain, and celebrate a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
