Mary Heath

Mary Heath is an accomplished frontline fundraiser who found her calling for philanthropic work early on. With a passion for bringing communities together, Mary works to foster opportunities for donors to take action in tangible and impactful ways.A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Mary is a dedicated member of the Annual Giving team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. As a development officer, Mary works with donors one-on-one to channel their meaningful connection to the Institute’s lifesaving mission into support for cancer research and patient care. In her current role, Mary navigates donors through the many ways in which they can support Dana-Farber including annual giving, planned giving, naming opportunities, volunteering, named funds, peer-to-peer fundraising, event participation, and much more. Additionally, Mary is a proud member of Women in Development and currently serves on the Programs Committee.

Erin Barfield
Erin Barfield is the Vice President of Development for Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. Erin joined the Big Sister Boston team in March 2019 and has spent more than a decade of her professional life working in service to nonprofits with incredible missions. Erin is passionate about the impact that mentoring has on young people – particularly girls. Previously, Erin managed peer to peer fundraising for Shatterproof, launching a successful 5K run/walk event, and started her nonprofit career as Events Manager at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries, managing fundraising and community events along with creating the Young Professionals Committee. Erin also has experience in marketing and communications for a gourmet food distribution company and started her career working in alternative radio. Erin received a degree in Print Journalism and Audio/Radio Production from Emerson College. When she's not working, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, and keeps active through a variety of hobbies, including roller derby, working out with friends, and skiing.

Fatima Harvey
Fatima currently serves as Chief Development Officer for Freedom House in Boston; where she is responsible for the advancement efforts that support the organization’s mission of building economic, racial and social equity for Black, Brown, and Immigrant youth in Boston through education and leadership development. She is the co-founder and co-Executive Director of The SHAZH Foundation, a non-profit organization that invests in and supports students in South Africa in achieving academic excellence by removing socioeconomic obstacles and promoting leadership development opportunities. Before joining Freedom House, Fatima spent 12 years at General Electric; and she held roles in finance, strategy, marketing, and operations across Latin America, Europe; and Africa, where her work focused on advancing economic inclusively through access to energy, healthcare, and skills development. Fatima holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Austin College.
